LIPOSUCTION FAT REMOVAL.

Liposuction, also known as fat removal surgery, is a procedure that involves the removal of excess fat deposits from specific areas of the body using thin cannulas and a vacuum device. This method is not intended for weight loss but rather for improving body contour and proportions, providing a permanent solution. The areas commonly treated include the hips, thighs, inner knees, abdomen, waist, back, breast and chest areas, neck, chin, cheeks, calves, ankles, and arms. Liposuction does not treat obesity, completely eliminate the appearance of cellulite, or address loose and sagging skin. There are different types of liposuction methods, including traditional liposuction, laser-assisted liposuction, and ultrasound-assisted liposuction. The procedure can be performed under general or local anesthesia, and the duration of the surgery depends on the extent of the area being treated.

During the recovery process, patients may experience swelling, pain, and changes in weight. It is important to maintain a careful diet and exercise regimen after the surgery.

Possible complications include infection, fluid or blood accumulation under the skin, changes in skin sensation, contour irregularities and asymmetry, increased appearance of cellulite, and changes in skin color. The amount of fat removed and the safety limits during liposuction vary based on the individual’s body weight and health status.
